Glass Replacement to OEM Condition

For maximum security and to maintain the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) condition, DINITROL offers a complete, high quality bonding system for Vehicle Glass Replacement.

The front windscreen strengthens the entire car body and works as a deflector for the vehicle´s air-bag. Therefore, it is important that the adhesive is able to withstand the forces that occur during a vehicle accident.

In cooperation with the OEM, crash tests have been performed to determine the specific strength of the DINITROL adhesive and to evaluate the time to reach this value.

The high quality products provide excellent strength and durability, for use under a wide range of installation and operational conditions:

-one component Standard when time is available and weatherconditions are good

-one component Fast Cure for faster curing in good weather conditions

-one component High Modulus when extra initial strength of the bond and

torsional strengthening properties of the vehicle are needed

-two component when time is short and/or weather conditions are non-favourable

The DINITROL Vehicle Glass Replacement System

The system is complete by use of the following products:

-Glass Activator/Cleaner with adhesion promoting properties

-Glass/Paint Primer with three functions; corrosion prevention properties, glass primer with protection against UV-radiation, paint primer to ensure adhesion to all types of paints and as an anti-corrosion primer

-Reactivators designed for RIM- or PVC-encapsulated windscreens
